Fortuna is the goddess of fortune and personification of luck – both vital for hotel investors. Her Table offers a feast of knowledge, guidance and community – the keys to hotel ownership.

what we do

Fortuna’s Table exists because doing a hotel deal is difficult – information is not readily available or organized, experts are expensive and busy, and it’s tough to climb a learning curve alone. Modeled after high-tech business incubators, Fortuna’s Table addresses this friction.

Our knowledge hub offers curated posts, videos and templates informing the journey to hotel ownership. Our dashboard enables you to map plans and track progress. But our most unique feature is “tables” where you can find mentorship and community – virtual meetings with peers and industry experts to inspire and guide you on your quest.

CHAIR - THE CASTELL PROJECT

Peggy Berg chairs the Castell Project, Inc. She has been a leading hotel industry consultant, hotel owner, franchisee of Choice Hotels International and Hilton Worldwide, founder of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants and professor in the Cecil B. Day School of Hospitality at Georgia State University.

Tracy Prigmore chairs She Has a Deal, hosting the inspirational hotel Pitch Competition and delivering a course on hotel development. She is the Founder of TLTsolutions, a real estate investment and development firm that provides unparalleled access and insight to alternative investments. She is a frequent public speaker and thought leader for the hospitality industry.

Changes are afoot for Fortuna’s Table.

Here are the highlights.

We are pleased to report that Castell Project is now part of the AHLA Foundation. Castell was a founding partner of Fortuna’s Table together with SHaD Project, the non-profit entity associated with She Has a Deal. As part of Castell’s transition to the Foundation, SHaD Project now owns 100% of Fortuna’s Table. That transfer came with a grant and staffing assistance to enhance SHaD’s ecosystem supporting future women hotel owners.

Bringing Fortuna’s Table into SHaD and growing SHaD’s ecosystem will take planning and then time to execute. We are not scheduling Tables on Fortuna during that process.  However, we are allowing full access to the Knowledge Hub without a subscription. We invite future hotel owners to browse the library and read articles of their choosing.
