Randy Griffin

Randy Griffin is President of CSRA Business Lending in Augusta, Georgia. He has been involved in the economic and community development and more particularly SBA lending for 34 years. CSRA Business Lending operates as a Certified Development Company and Accredited Lender of the U.S. Small Business Administration making SBA-504 loans in conjunction with banks throughout Georgia and South Carolina. Last year CSRA assisted banks on 70 projects totaling $92.3 million dollars. Randy was hired as the only company employee of CSRA in 1987 at the age of 24 when the company was facing decertification by SBA and closure. He increased loan production from two projects per year in 1987, to an average of thirty-five (35) projects per year over the past five (5) years. CSRA has financed over $900 million in economic and community development projects in projects funded during his tenure. CSRA was selected as an Accredited Lender by the Small Business Administration in 1993, recognized as a model community loan program by the Federal Reserve in 1995, and was selected SBA’s Partner of the Year in Georgia in 2000. In 2015 Randy was selected as Georgia’s Small Business Financial Champion of the Year by SBA during national small business week. Randy has served on the Executive Committee of NADCO (the SBA-504 Trade Association) as well as the bond sale board that funds the SBA-504 loans each month. Randy is a 1986 graduate of the Georgia Southern University, Parker College of Business where he majored in finance and played football serving as the teams first punter. Randy has also served since 1997 on the Gallery Committee of the Masters Golf Tournament. He has been married to his wife Laurie for 31 years and has three grown sons Tyler, Ryan, and Seth.
